Add a New User
Only users with administration privileges are able to add users.
Adding a User
- Navigate to the 'Users' page.
- Click the 'New user' button.
- Complete the user's details.
- The new user will sent an invite to join Beegle.
- After step 3 you will be on a page showing the user you just created. From this page, click the 'Set Temporary Password' button.
- If you navigate away from this page you can return to it by going back to the 'Users' page, finding the user you just created, and clicking 'Show this user'
- You will receive a random temporary password, which the new user will require to first access Beegle.
We do not recommend sending the new user the temporary password by email. The most secure way of issuing the password to them is verbally.
- When the new user first logs in to Beegle, they will be forced to change their password and to set up Multi-Factor Authentication.
Access to Client Groups
Beegle allows organisations to control which users have access to each client group, as noted here.
If a new user is set up with administration privileges they will have access to all client groups. Otherwise, they will not have access to any client group which has restrictions in place for which users can access them. The new user will only have access to client groups which have no restrictions on user access.
The new user will therefore need to be manually granted access to each restricted client group where needed.
