Explanation of fields

The fields are relatively self explanatory. Those that impact dashboards, reports or require additional explanation are noted below. 

  • TargetActioned amountstatus
    • ThisWhen is the ultimate financial target balance associated with a goal. For example, a goal to go on an overseas holiday may have a $30,000 target. 
    • Beegle recommends onlyfirst adding a targetkey amountdate, this will typically be set to either:
      1. Not actioned: This is used for goalsthose key dates that aremay oncerequire offsome spendingsort items,of suchaction asor the holiday above, buying a car, saving a deposit for a property, etc.review. An example ofis reaching Age Pension age, which may require an application with Centrelink. 
      2. None required: This is used for key dates that don't require any action to be taken. It may be the date a goalclient wherechanges Beeglejobs. does

    • For athose fixedkey targetdates wouldthat do require some sort of action to be somethingtaken, likethe fundingstatus retirement of $80,000 pa, as this amount does not relateneeds to abe pointchanged infrom time'Not assetactioned' value.to 'Actioned' when the task is complete. 
    • The targetactioned amount field can impact the display of 'How are you tracking?' dashboard, in particular for goals marked as 'Achieved'.  
  • Goal achieved date
    • The date the goal was achieved. 
    • In line with the comments for target amount, some goal may never have an achieved date. For example, a retirement funding goal never ends as retirement is ongoing rather than a single point in time. 
    • This field,status in conjunction with the targetrecorded amount,date determine how anthe achievedkey goaldate is displayed on the 'How are you tracking?'dashboards dashboard..
